Modern Islamic Men’s Majlis

The client for this gathering area also known as “Majlis” was dedicated for men, and additional private rooms for resting. Since the client in an Arab who lived abroad too, he wanted to design a Majlis that is modern, but have a heritage Islamic foundation in the design. Arches and a mixed of reds and blues needed to be the main part of the theme in this project.

Our Solutions
We designed a Majlis with domes that area a mix of Islamic and Gothic architecture. The seating area contained a mix of light blue and red fabrics, similar to Bedouin woven carpets, and some areas had low-lying seating for guests similar to those found in Arabian tents.
